What do you think is the main reason for the failure of projects?

It is clear that when everything is good, everything is successful, and everything is done, they don’t talk about the main reason for success, it is simply celebrated, with champagne, the faces of the main people on the front pages of newspapers, 13th, 14th, 15th salaries, etc.. But what if.. it didn’t work out?

My strong belief, which only grows stronger year after year, is insufficient communication.

After all, probably, having discussed it properly, it is possible to develop a work plan that is detailed enough to then move on it in the next month or two. And then, along the way, clarify the next steps.

And, probably, if everything is discussed well, you can refrain from making controversial management decisions, which may certainly turn out the next day not to be as wonderful as they seemed at the time of their adoption.

And if you stop and discuss the state of affairs, then perhaps sometimes you can stop the project altogether and throw energy in a different direction, instead of continuing to move in the wrong one. You just need to not be shy about communicating your opinion; the leaders are not Shiva or Rama, and sometimes they are not even Copenhagen.
